Great service and lots of advice on how to lay new Victorian Tiles in a small area of a hall. The advice given for preparing the area to be tiled was invaluable and helped to make laying the tiles easy and give a fabulous finished job.

Tim’s attention to detail is second to none and his tiler exactly the same, they are a great team who provided a design based on my original Minton tiles in the vestibule which had crumbled, and needed replacing. The design provided was as near to the original as possible and a year on, every time I look at it I’m glad I had it done, beautiful design, expertly executed. I would recommend every time! What a great find. Tim was a joy to deal with, incredibly helpful and professional. What an amazing place to get times from. Tim and his colleague were both fantastic. They really know their stuff and it's more than just getting a sale for them, it's about getting it right for us, the customer (even allowing us to make our pattern up on their floor with the tiles they had lying around!). I would highly recommend Alternative tiles, Tim provided us with great advice on how best to tile over our old door step. He helped us design a pattern and ensure there was enough tiles to complete the job . Tim was very patient with us while my wife and I decided on what colour combination to use, even after several visits to his shop. Great advice and service from Tim, along with good communication throughout. Closing our main entrance was a challenge but I’m sure it will pay back many times over the years.
