Underfloor heating
Underfloor heating is the modern way to heat your room, it is surprisingly efficient, your tiled floor works like a giant storage heater keeping the heat in at cheap rate economy seven electricity. An average bathroom kit comes in at around £200 and uses about 300w of electricity when on full.
An intelligent electronic-programmable thermostat keeps the floor/room at the temperature you want when you want it.
Thermal insulation board can be used to reduce the cost further as it helps keep the heat in and stop it going too far down into the floor. This is the ideal solution to tiling over wooden floors too.

To give you an idea of the costs involved please see a few examples of the kit prices as listed below. These are for complete kits including everything you need (primer, roller to apply primer, probe, 28 event digital programmer/thermostat/timer, heat mat and instructions).

The kits are supplied as mats not rolls of cable, the mats are so much easier to lay with wire pre-spaced and in place, self adhesive backing tape is also in place ready to adhere to the floor.
These kits are excellent with a heavy duty shielded cable and fully programmable digital controller. These should be fitted professionally and the book stamped by a qualified electrician to validate the warranty.
The prices are based on collection from us, delivery can be arranged for a small fee. All kits are tested for earth leakage prior to despatch. Make sure your unit is wired correctly as probes can be damaged if wired to the controllers power outlet by mistake.
